About Us

Truly a family owned business, Gardens and Accessories by Teresa consists of my two daughters, my patient and supportive husband and my 3 standard poodles, Black Jack, Red Baron and Platinum Storm. Their job is to remind me that playtime is as important as work time. And of course me, Teresa. I grew up in a gardening family and have been a Master Gardener since 2001. I became fascinated by the wire art topiaries while working part time at a small nursery. When the nursery closed, I decided to start selling the topiaries on my own, primarily at local farmer’s markets and dog shows. Our local newspaper published an article about me and my topiaries, then sent it out on the National Wire Service. Since then, I’ve had calls from all over the United States, Canada and Hawaii!

I love the creative aspect of the topiaries, not only the form, but finding the plants that really make the frame come alive. Customer service is very important to me, and I try my best to provide individual attention to each customer and their particular needs. I research to select plants that will thrive in your growing zone. And if you wish to plant the topiary yourself, I will provide directions and suggestions to you.
